Children are an important part of Thalia United Methodist Church. We believe that children are not just our future, they are our present. Our mission is simple: To teach our children to know and love God and to have a meaningful relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ. Our Children's Church begins after the pastor has all of the children come to the altar for the "Young People's Chat" (near the beginning of the 8:30 and 11:00 services). Children are then led to the class.

When we join the United Methodist Church, we are asked to participate in the life of the Church with our prayers, presence, gifts and service. Each of these components is an integral part of a holy covenant.
